In one month, on 24th May, let’s meet at the Moonlight Half Marathon, the International Half Marathon organized by Venicemarathon Club in cooperation with the City of Jesolo and the Cavallino Treporti City Council.

The start will be given at sunset time (at 8pm) from Lungomare San Felice in Cavallino and the race course will finish in Piazza Mazzini, in Jesolo. The lagoon coast which connects Cavallino Treporti to Jesolo is the spectacular setting of the race course which offers suggestive views of the lagoon at sunset time.

2,000 are the bib numbers already assigned. The organizing committee has fixed the participant cap at 3,500 registrations to offer good quality services to all runners and last year the race was sold out early in advance and the race welcomed runners from 36 different foreign countries.

"These numbers show that the Moonlight Half Marathon grew a lot in the first three years and it has become a national but also an international running appointment. This has been possible thanks to the cooperation of the City of Jesolo and the City Council of Cavallino Treporti” – these are the words of the Venicemarathon President Piero Rosa Salva.

The Moonlight Half Marathon will be a great party, not only for spectators who will cheer on runners along the race course and in Piazza Mazzini entertained by the music groups of Anima la Maratona but especially for athletes. In fact after 10 pm all runners are invited to take part in the Moonlight Beach Party at the disco Capannina in Piazza Mazzini. Free entrance and one free drink for all participants. This party is supported by Capannina Beach and Confcommercio.
