Here is the new race course of the 14th BMW Ceccato Motors Jesolo Moonlight Half Marathon!

Changes also to the route of the Alì Family Run that will pass along the seafront.
The Moonlight Half Marathon welcomes OTSO, the new technical sponsor of the event.

Venice, April 16, 2025 - The countdown has begun for the 14th BMW Ceccato Motors Jesolo Moonlight Half Marathon & 10K, the international half marathon ‘in the moonlight’, organized by Venicemarathon in collaboration with the City of Jesolo, which on Saturday 24 May will welcome runners from all over the world with a route that has included new and very suggestive elements such as the sunset passage on the Sile river in the center of Jesolo, immediately after the start, and will inaugurate the first test event of the Rollerblade® Moonlight Half Marathon, a 21-kilometer inline skate race with a fun motor nature.

But the news does not end here, as the new technical sponsor OTSO, a company founded in 2019 in the principality of Andorra, in the Pyrenees, specializing in the production of high-quality outdoor sports clothing and accessories, with a unique design and respectful of the environment, has joined the Moonlight Half Marathon family. It is no coincidence that in the Basque language Otso means wolf, “an intelligent, very social and familiar animal of our fauna, which fights for its survival by playing an irreplaceable ecological role”. The exclusive Otso merchandising will be available at the stand at the Moonlight Village.

The new half marathon course, designed together with the Municipal Administration, as already announced compared to the past, this year adds the novelty of reaching the historic center of Jesolo by running along Via Ca’ Gamba up to the bridge over the Canale Cavetta. From here, the runners will begin to run along the Sile river (the longest resurgence river in Italy), running along Via Cesare Battisti, Via Giovanni Pascoli and Via Nazario Sauro, all new elements that will offer different and very suggestive views, especially at sunset. The athletes will then take Via Toscanini, cross the bridge over the Cavetta again and begin to run along the first stretch of the canal. At this point the route enters the Jesolo countryside along via Fornasotto and via Miozzo, then faces the Cavetta again and runs along it to Cortellazzo. Here the race will run alongside the suggestive mouth of the Piave river with its tourist port, before returning to Lido di Jesolo along the green and flowing avenues of Belgio and via Oriente in the lush Jesolo pine forest. Finally, the Lungomare, with its white beaches and the glow of the moon, will accompany the athletes during the last kilometers before crossing the finish line in Piazza Milano, also home to the Moonlight Village, where the lights and music of Jesolo's nightlife and above all the usual warmth of the public will welcome the finishers.

The 10K course will not undergo any changes compared to the past, while the Alì Family Run, the non-competitive 4-kilometer run-walk dedicated to families, tourists and enthusiasts, will this year follow a stretch of the half marathon, also overlooking the seafront. The streets involved in the transit will therefore be via Inghilterra (departure), via Olanda, via Anasso, via Altinate, Lungomare and then via Vittorio Veneto, via Carlo Scarpa, via Levantina, via Possagno, via Olanda and arrival in Piazza Milano.

Finally, the Rollerblade® Moonlight Half Marathon will start like all the races from via Danimarca and will take via Ca’ Gamba, via Cavetta Di Marina, via Fornasotto, via Miozzo, via Corer, via Comacchio, via Corer 2° Ramo, via Adria, via Corer, Ramo di via Gabbiano, Viale Cigno Bianco, Via Cavetta Di Marina, Viale Oriente, Viale Belgio, via Agnello Partecipazio, via Oriente, via Bucintoro, Lungomare, via Vittorio Veneto, via Carlo Scarpa, via Levantina and arrival in Piazza Milano.

The program for Saturday 24 May will be as follows: at 5:30 pm it starts with the Alì Family Run. The Jesolo Moonlight 10K is scheduled to start at around 6:30 pm, followed by the Rollerblade® Moonlight Half Marathon (around 7:00 pm) and finally the 14th Jesolo Moonlight Half Marathon at around 7:30 pm.
