For families and children, fun will be guaranteed with the 5th Alì Family Run of 3 kilometers which this year will also run along the seafront and will help the parish of San Giovanni Battista.
Venice, April 30, 2025 - The Saturday night running ‘fever’ is rising, and in just under a month, on Saturday, May 24, the city of Jesolo will transform into the capital of running with the 14th BMW Ceccato Motors Jesolo Moonlight Half Marathon &10K, the international road running event organized by Venicemarathon in collaboration with the City of Jesolo that will allow people of all ages and abilities to run and have fun, including the public.
The ‘moonlight’ race, in fact, in addition to offering the 3 classic half marathon distances, 10 kilometers and 3 kilometers for families, this year has also included the Rollerblade® Moonlight Half Marathon, an inline skate race with a fun motor skill.
A very rich proposal, therefore, that is gathering great enthusiasm in terms of registrations. There are already over 5,000 total registered for the event, of which over 3,000 in the half marathon, 2,000 in the 10 kilometers and we are flying towards the sold out of the Rollerblade® Moonlight Half Marathon, which in this first test event has set the limit at 500 registered.
Registrations are already open also for the 3-kilometer Alì Family Run which will attract as always many families, children, companions and tourists. The registration fee is 5 euros and all participants will receive the official personalized Alì t-shirt which recalls, through the “End Polio Now” logo, the important awareness campaign on the fight against polio promoted by Rotary District 2060. The funds raised will also support the parish of San Giovanni Battista this year, one of the most important Caritas centers in Jesolo, committed daily to helping people in need, providing vouchers or food parcels.
The 5th Alì Family Run will warm up the anticipation of the international event and will be a truly special opportunity to experience the atmosphere of the great event. The start is, in fact, scheduled for 5:30 pm with starting and finish lines set up right near Piazza Milano, the heart of the event and starting area of all the races. The streets involved in the Alì Family Run route are: via Inghilterra, via Olanda, via Anasso, via Altinate, Lungomare, via Vittorio Veneto, via Carlo Scarpa, via Levantina, via Possagno, via Olanda and then again the arrival in Piazza Milano.
The evening will continue at 6:30 pm with the start of the Jesolo Moonlight 10, followed by the Rollerblade® Moonlight Half Marathon (around 7:00 pm) and finally the start of the 14th Jesolo Moonlight Half Marathon at around 7:30 pm.
The party will continue immediately after the finish line, at Parco Grifone (200 meters from the finish line) with the Moonlight Party, where athletes can refresh themselves with a Pasta Party, and then let loose to the rhythm of the music with the DJ set.
Registrations for the four races are open and available on the website www.moonlighthalfmarathon.it. Today, Wednesday 30 April, the discounted registration fee for the half marathon, 10K and inline skate race expires: the new fee will come into effect from midnight.
