Half marathon, 10K and Alì Family Run: as always it will be an event suitable for everyone and a great party for friends and companions too

Registrations continue from all over the world and there are already around 3,000 registered.

Venice, 10 April 2024 – 45 days left until the thirteenth edition of the international night road running event, organized by Venicemarathon with the patronage of the City of Jesolo and the support of Jesolo Turismo, which on Saturday 25 May will lead to running on the streets of Jesolo many running enthusiasts and more.

The Jesolo Moonlight formula, as per tradition, includes three distances suitable for all ages and abilities: the competitive half marathon, the competitive and recreational 10K and the Jesolo Alì Family Run, of approximately 3 kilometres, dedicated above all to families, children and movement enthusiasts.

Jesolo is therefore preparing to host thousands of runners who will arrive from all over the world, to combine the sporting opportunity with a weekend of sport-sea-relaxation, thus generating an important economic impact for the area at the opening of the season.

As always, the half marathon route will be spectacular and fast and will offer an alternation of different naturalistic aspects such as the river, the pine forest, the seafront and the beach, combined with the romantic colors of the sunset and the charm of the sea at night, as well as suggestive it is the 10K route which to be precise measures 9,350 km.

Piazza Milano will be the nerve center of the event again this year and will host the colorful and animated Moonlight Village, as well as the departure and arrival of all three races. A stone's throw from the beach, the square is easily accessible by car and has numerous car parks.

The first race to start will be the Alì Family Run (around 5.30pm) which will warm up the wait, after which the 10K and then the 21K will follow, scheduled for between 7pm and 8pm (times yet to be confirmed).

This year too, the event will aim to raise funds to support Don Gianni and the parish of San Giovanni Battista, one of the most important Caritas centers in Jesolo, committed daily to helping over 200 people in need by providing vouchers or shopping parcels.

Still on the theme of solidarity, this year too the event will support the project to collect used running shoes for people in need 'Doppino Noto, Quarta2.0', promoted by barefoot runner Ercole La Manna and by the associations 'Vegan Power Team' and 'Polenta Company'.

The team of pacers who will help the athletes achieve their timing objectives has also already been defined. There will be around 50 athletes coordinated by the Venicemarathon Running Team who will observe the following time bands in the 21K: 1h30', 1h35', 1h40', 1h45', 1h50'. 1h55', 2h. In the 10 km, however, they will be divided into 5 groups that will cover these times: 40', 45', 50', 55', 1h and 1h10'.

Finally, the Moonlight Party will be the icing on the cake. All athletes and their companions will have the opportunity to have fun after the race at the party organized by Parco Grifone. A unique moment to relax after the run, recounting the emotions experienced while running.

There are already around 3,000 registered participants to date and registration is open and available on the website www.moonlighthalfmarathon.it.
